Atq. George Washington 1 Cent Stamp 1789-1797 on Old Pic Postcard Dated 1940
Green or A mint green color stamp, George Washington (looking Left) stamp has some age to it and it is faded and a faint discolored look considering it's age and all this Post card has been thru for 82 yrs old it has some patina age look of a lt. Comes with postcard as I will not cut or remove it, the postal stamp ink hand stamped is not in the best of as far as condition on the right of ink circle stamp is unreadable and looking smeared words in appearance as far as best described, there is some discolored spots that are amber in color could be coffee stains or???? On both sides also the picture of the smiling faces of the kids and the pretty horse are nice and inviting to view, however the Normal Damages is faded black and white picture and mild cracking lines, and the spots of Amber colored area that are minor and mostly on the frame of picture, there is a tiny thumb tack hole on bottom in center of postcard see last 2 pictures as I've taken close up pics of this, not noticeable and does not interfere with the stamp or the photo of Kids, postcard has wear to it and slightly folding at edges of the postcard see photos for better viewing and understanding of above said and for measurements also.

Same side as the stamp is on written in pencil, Mailed from Hensley Arkansas to Alexander Arkansas, Stamped by the United States Post office in bold Gray colored ink HANSLEY ARKANSAS JAN.
1940 and it also says something next to the Hensley but to blurry I can't read it... Anyhow it's a Sweet letter from the kids short note to their Mama saying "they were delayed by bad weather and Sending her the photo of them".
